Press accreditations
In the context of the Olympic Games, the BOIC collaborates with Sportspress.be (the Belgian professional association of sports journalists) for the allocation and management of press accreditations.
Are you a sports journalist or photographer wishing to obtain a press accreditation for the Olympic Games Los Angeles 2028? Please review the criteria below.
Eligible persons
The following persons may be eligible for a press accreditation:
- journalists from daily and weekly newspapers, provided they are affiliated with Sportspress.be;
- freelance journalists and photographers with at least one client recognised by Sportspress.be;
- journalists and photographers working for a recognised federation’s magazine, upon request of that federation.
Non-eligible persons
Accreditations are not granted to:
- representatives of media outlets or websites not recognised by Sportspress.be;
- technical staff, managers and other athlete support personnel;
- press officers of sports federations;
- marketing managers of general or sports media organisations.
Accreditation requests
Any request for a press accreditation for the Olympic Games Los Angeles 2028 must be submitted within the deadlines that will be communicated at a later stage.

Television and broadcasters
The BOIC is responsible for accreditation requests for written press and photographers in Belgium.
The procedure for rights holders is carried out via the Olympic Broadcasting Services (OBS) website. (Information to be confirmed)
Accreditation requests for non-rights-holding television and radio organisations (ENR) are managed directly by the IOC. (Information to be confirmed)
