The EQUIP Project (Equip for Equality in Practice), launched in 2021, aims to exchange and apply existing good practices on gender and diversity within the sports sector.
This project is coordinated by ENGSO, together with 9 partners from 6 European countries. The BOIC is one of the official project partners, alongside the Dutch Olympic Committee (NOC*NSF). The project is co-funded by the Erasmus+ Sport Programme of the European Union.
The BOIC collaborates with the Centre for Ethics in Sport (ICES) to organize various activities and events in Belgium. By organizing these activities, BOIC and ICES aim to encourage federations to proactively address gender and diversity issues.
