The Lotto Belgium House press room

Context and objectives:

The euphoria of the Olympic Games also attracts the various media. The Lotto Belgium House (LBH) is the home of the supporters, but it is also the meeting place for institutional, commercial and media partners. The latter include VRT and RTBF. They have the exclusive rights to report from the various LBH party venues.

As well as the TV and radio studios of our media partners, Team Belgium is offering - free of charge - all the Belgian press (whether accredited for the Paris Games or not) a place to work: the LBH Press Room. This will also provide an opportunity to meet the athletes (just after their last competition) or other personalities who might make an appearance in the LBH Press Room: Olympians, gold medallists (or not), the artists who will be hosting the evenings at the Team Belgium Arena, the Michelin-starred chefs who will be preparing exceptional meals for the VIP guests or other personalities passing through... but only under certain conditions (see below).

Opening times and registration at LBH

The Press Room is open every day from 11am to midnight during the Olympic Games, from 26/07 to 11/08. With the exception of 26 July. On this date, the pressroom will be open for work after the 9am conference. On the other days, the athletes will be celebrated during the games, depending on their results, at the Team Belgium Arena, most likely from 8.30pm. Entry to the Press Room is restricted to Belgian journalists in possession of a valid press card. A daily programme will be continually updated. We strongly advise you to check it frequently to make sure you haven't come for nothing!

For the international press, a tour of the Lotto Belgium House will be organised on 27 July at 9pm.

The Press Room is equipped with 10 workstations (including a desk, good wifi access and an interview board for TV viewers). Given the limited space available, we will be operating on a ‘first in - first served’ basis. In order to organise these days as effectively as possible, journalists wishing to come to the LBH must register via the following platform: https://event.recrewteer.com/v2/organization/1966/event/3672/form/3448/delegation/2397?lang=fr .

Simply follow the procedure indicated and if you are accepted, the specific LBH press room accreditation can be collected from the LBH reception desk on presentation of a press card.

Some rules and access

Press accreditation at the LBH also gives access to the courtyard of the Lotto Belgium House and the Team Belgium shop.

However, and this is important, it does NOT give access to the party rooms (e.g. Team Belgium Arena). You can, however, gain access to these by buying a ticket. Follow the link below to the LBH website: https://www.lottobelgiumhouse.be/en/tickets

This ticket will give you access to the LBH and its party rooms as a fan and not as a journalist. In fact (see above), it is strictly forbidden to film with professional cameras inside the Lotto Belgium House. No cameras are allowed, and interviews are also forbidden. Nevertheless, given the exclusivity granted to them, our television partners will share the raw footage of the LBH. FTPS link and explanations below. As for the photos, you will find them on the platform of our partner Belga.

Finally, please note that the LBH is not equipped with lockers and that you will therefore not be able to enter with luggage. So make your own arrangements!
