From July 26 to August 11, Middelkerke was transformed into a true sports village to celebrate the Paris 2024 Olympic Games. Thousands of visitors gathered on the beach, near the new SILT casino, to watch the Olympic competitions live and cheer on the Team Belgium athletes.
The event also offered a unique opportunity to try out various sports, from beach volleyball to judo and even breakdance, thanks to initiations organized by the sports federations. The friendly atmosphere and Olympic energy brought participants together around the values of sport and self-development.
There were countless memorable moments, including the euphoric return of Belgian athletes from Paris, celebrated with great enthusiasm, and performances by Belgian artists such as Daan and Tourist LeMC, who set the crowd ablaze in an unforgettable festive atmosphere.
